Like Nobody's Watching: The Body's Authentic Stories
Physical improv practices for decolonizing your self-expression and deep embodied story-telling
Abandon the carefully curated movements we perform daily and dive into the electric current of unedited physical impulse. In this workshop, we'll shut down the internal choreographer that censors our bodies and instead follow the strange, awkward, and surprisingly honest pathways of movement that emerge when we stop performing. Through structured physical theatre practices, we'll explore what happens when our limbs tell stories our minds wouldn't dare to voice, creating a rare opportunity to be seen in states beyond our practiced selves.
About Your Instructor: A multi-lingual variety artist, Marina brings together the worlds of clown, mime, and physical storytelling, translating stage techniques into practical tools for navigating life's beautiful chaos. Marina's teaching practice explores the intersection of performance and personal growth, creating safe spaces where artistic experience naturally evolves out of therapeutic discovery and community connection.
